Loopt Now Available On The BlackBerry Storm

Loopt is now available on the BlackBerry Storm and BlackBerry Storm2. For those of you that don’t know, Loopt is a LBS application insanely popular with iPhone users. It has been around for a while on the BlackBerry, but, just didn’t offer the same level of functionality as iPhone users had.

As some of you may know, I am pretty paranoid about walking around with a lo-jack in my pocket allowing me to be tracked from space and broadcasting my location in real-time across the internet, however, those of you that perceived the movie “Enemy of the State” as an action flick as compared to documentary about real life, might find Loopt to be a pretty cool application.
According to BlackBerry App World, the latest version of Loopt is available for all BlackBerry device models 8520 and higher. You can also pick it it up OTA from the Loopt website via the link below.
